Defiliban publishes structured DeFi coverage across a defined set of editorial lanes. This page explains the sourcing, framing, confidence, and update rules behind that output.

Source selection

We prioritize primary materials such as protocol documentation, governance posts, official statements, onchain data, and market data providers.

Secondary reporting can inform context, but core claims should remain traceable to identifiable sources whenever possible.

Article construction

Each piece is framed around news relevance, market structure, protocol design, liquidity behavior, or identifiable risk rather than narrative-only commentary.

Articles should separate observed facts, working assumptions, and interpretation so readers can see where certainty ends.

AI-assisted research or drafting may support parts of the workflow, but final publication decisions, review, and corrections remain under human editorial control.

Confidence scoring

Confidence scores are an editorial shorthand for signal quality, source depth, and how stable the underlying facts appear at publication time.

80-100: strong primary evidence and clear signal
60-79: useful evidence with some unresolved uncertainty
40-59: limited data, partial confirmation, or unstable conditions
0-39: early or highly speculative signal

Updates and corrections

Articles may be updated when new protocol disclosures, governance decisions, exploit findings, or market data materially change the interpretation.

If a published claim is wrong or materially incomplete, Defiliban should correct the article and clarify the change through the updated version.
